Having created literally thousands of cakes and pastries, Taylor's experience comes from many years working close with her dad who was Executive Pastry Chef at one of Kansas City's top well know hotel, Westin Crown. After school, Taylor and her siblings would help their father at his wholesale bakery. Where they made pastries for Hallmark Cards, Harrah's Casino, Sheraton Hotel, Kansas City's Bartle Hall Convention Center and many more local businesses.
After working side by side with her father for many years, at the age of 20 Taylor became the Manager of her father's retail store, Napoleon Bakery. There she created innovative designs with a fond eye for small details.
In 2016 Taylor took full ownership of the bakery. Taylor changed the name but kept the recipes
Now at the age of 27 Taylor creates about 300 wedding cakes a year and about 15,000 different pastries and custom cakes. Taylor has strong attention to detail and takes pride in everything thing she creates. From elegant, traditional tiers to contemporary, modern designs, Taylor's cakes are a unique artwork design to fit the client's personal style.
